Winston Peter launches the Government's SuperGold Card
AUCKLAND (National Business Review), July 29, 2008:
A new SuperGold Card directory has been issued to more than half a million pensioners. It contains more than 850 business partners offering a variety of discounts across a wide range of goods and services, Associate Senior Citizens Minister Winston Peters said today.
The card was developed at Mr Peters' initiative, and it lists the businesses and their nearly 5,000 outlets that offer discounts to pensioners.
"Some major businesses have joined the programme, such as Westpac, New World and New Zealand Post," Mr Peters said.
