KIEV, Ukraine February 22, 2008:
About 200 elderly gather at a
subway station, "Teatralnaya,"
in Kiev every weekend to dance, listen to music
and find their life partners.
Seventy-year-old Pavel Binchuk has organized such gatherings since 1982, playing his bayan and singing songs for everyone despite the fact that local officials threw him out of the Hydropark where seniors met at one time to socialize. The elderly enjoy these weekend gatherings where they feel young again and find their loved ones.
