DHAKA (The New Nation), July 26, 2006:
Ms Hua Du, the Asian Development Bank's country-director, has brushed aside the Berlin-based Transparency International's putting annual stigma on Bangladesh being the 'most corrupt' nation in the world.
"It's a matter of regret that quite senior citizens with notable academic background do not hesitate to pioneer the role in defaming their own country that with all the potentials can be world's one of the leading nations", she said.
