PHILIPPINES: GSIS Pensioners To Get Payments By E-Cards

San Jose, Antique (Press Information Agency), January 12, 2006: Old-age pensioners of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) who have not enrolled in the Pension Payment Through Bank Program (PPTBP) of the system, are now enjoined to apply for their E-cards at Iloilo City. This has been announced by Estelita I. Maza, chief of GSIS Satellite Office in the province. Pensioners who have disability, unable to travel, or who are no longer fit to travel, have been advised to inform the GSIS Satellite Office. The E-card will be given to the pensioners after two months. Their monthly pension will be credited to their E-card sometime in May 2006. By E.A. Abasquez
