SINGAPORE: Young and elderly people walk to foster bonding

Particiapants of the Silver 100 Walk
It was an event to encourage interaction between some 600 young people and senior citizens.

They were paired up for a short walk on Sunday morning to promote stronger bonding between the elderly and the young.

Participants as young as six years old, and as old as 84 years old began their walk along the Marina Bay Promenade.

The inaugural 'Silver 100 Walk' was organised by the the Rotary Club of Bugis Junction and Young NTUC to encourage young people to interact more with the elderly. The event was also organised to raise funds to upgrade the NTUC-Rotary Silver Circle Day Centre.
