Caizhaan, a 61-year-old senior citizen told that the Tibetan folk dancing was called Duixie, which combined traditional Tibetan circle dancing with the modern tap dance with a cheerful and light-hearted mood.
Cai Zhaan used to a headmaster in Dangxiong Middle School, and after retirement he joined the "Seniors Art Show Team" in neighborhood committee of Aba Linka in 2011.
"Before I joined the 'Seniors Art Show Team', I could only spin the praying wheel around the Sera Monastery, sometimes I felt lonely as I suddenly lacked any motivation to move on and find another way of life after my retirement."
"But things are different now. I can learn and practice Duixie with other companions of my age." Cai smiled.
Cai became exited when I asked his funniest part of joining the team, saying "The most exciting thing about this is we could go out to different regions and cities to take part in dance competitions. We've already won dozens of prizes."
Watching those happy retired senior citizens chatting and dancing, the reporter feels that only senior residents find their new way of life after retirement can they really enjoy life.
