President John Evans Atta Mills of Ghana, born July 1944, has PhD in Law from the London School of Oriental and African Studies and was a Fulbright scholar at Stanford Law School in the USA. He was sworn in as the Third President of the Republic of Ghana in January 2009. He is a taxation expert, he has lectured on law, and is academician, sportsman and an astute politician. He is known in Ghana as "Asomdweehene" which literally means the "King of Peace". He is married to Ernestina Naadu Mills, an educationist. They have a son, Sam Kofi Atta Mills. Source: Ghanaweb
