Summer Poem
By Ellen Younkins
Summertime - it’s memories of things so long ago,
windows waiting for a breeze and awnings hanging low.
Lightning dancing in the sky to brighten up the night,Rain drops singing mellow tones, oh so sweet and light.Soft kisses from the morning mist on every blade of grassand sunlight streams though the open panes of glass.
