CDC's Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention has launched it's new Heart Disease Web site.
To provide public health leadership to improve cardiovascular health for all, reduce the burden, and eliminate disparities associated with heart disease and stroke, says an announcement from the agency of the US Department of Health and Human Services.
Heart disease and stroke are, respectively, the first and third leading causes of death in the United States. They are the principal causes of cardiovascular disease death and are also major causes of disability.
Heart Disease
