TIBET: 130,500 urban Tibetans have medical insurance

. BEIJING, China / People.com / October 23, 2009 To date, 130,500 urban Tibetan people were covered by the basic medical insurance for urban residents. The annual medical subsidy for urban Tibetan residents has increased from 80 to 120 yuan. To encourage hospital deliver, urban pregnant women enjoying from the basic medical insurance can get a one hundred percent reimbursement in fund of giving birth in hospital.
