INDIA: Mukul Wasnik asks senior citizens to exert their rights

. NEW DELHI, India / India Press Information Bureau / News / October 22, 2009 India's Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Mukul Wasnik visited the Exhibition on Age Care in New Delhi today. Mr. Mukul Wasnik, India's Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment today urged senior citizens to exert their rights to secure their place in the society. He was speaking at the inauguration of a multi-activity programme “Reinventing Retirement through Active Ageing" organized by National Institute of Social Defence, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and Anugraha, Mr. K M Acharya, Secretary of the Ministry, and Dr. Abha Chaudhary, Founder Secretary, Anugraha also attended the programme.
