UK: Never too old to Twitter... at 104

. YORKSHIRE, England / The Yorkshire Post / September 8, 2009 By Fiona Evans THE oldest member of Facebook has voiced her disappointment at controversial glamour model Jordan's behaviour as she celebrated her 104th birthday. Ivy Bean, who turns 104 today, hit the headlines after becoming the oldest member of the popular social networking website. The former mill worker began celebrating her latest milestone early by trawling through numerous messages from wellwishers among the 5,000 friends and 16,000 fans she has acquired through the site. Now she has used her fame to pledge her support for Peter Andre, the estranged husband of Katie Price, who is also known as Jordan. Sporting a "Team Andre" T-shirt, Mrs Bean said: "We read the papers together at the home I live in and we were shocked when we read about Peter and Jordan. We all support Peter, because he seems so lovely. "So I wanted to show my support for him by wearing the T-shirt. Hopefully he'll get in touch on Twitter to thank me and I can tell him we're all behind him." The great-grandmother, who lives at Hillside Manor Residential Home, Bradford, is also followed by over 23,000 fans on Twitter. Mrs Bean said: "I love to keep everyone updated with what I'm up to, even if I'm just telling them what I've had for my dinner." The great grandmother from Bradford enjoys trips to the seaside.
