Jeff Poston, executive director of the Canadian Pharmacists Association, said the findings reinforces the profession's commitment to patients.
"As health professionals advising patients on their personal health issues, nothing is more important to us than trust," he said.
"It's vital that people feel they can talk to us in confidence and trust in the advice they receive."
Also among the top highly rated professions were high school teachers, police officers and clergy members. [rc]
