A farmer and a tea planter, whose land will be flooded, try to stop the project but it goes relentlessly ahead, taking along with it the traumas, romances and heartaches of all those involved.
Joy, who lived in Africa for several years, is a founder member of Ilfracombe Writers' Circle and has several more manuscripts she hopes will be published. [rc]
