INDIA: Haryana state okays Rs.1500 million for social infrastructure

CHANDIGARH, Haryana / Punjab Newsline.com / June 11, 2009 Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda Thursday approved the implementation of a Rs. 150 crore Social Infrastructure Mission Project to lay thrust on three areas of disability sector, senior citizens and children in the State and named this project after first Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. He said this at a review of implementation of Haryana Social Infrastructure Mission today. It would be the first of its kind project in India taking care of the disabled, senior citizens and destitute and orphan children.
