Thirty senior citizens staying at the Samabula Old People’s Home were in tears this afternoon after a group from Airports Fiji Limited visited them with gifts.
AFL executive Pauliasi Naivalu said he received an early morning call from the main branch in Nadi to go and visit the residents at the home after hearing one of the resident's story about being abandoned by her daughter on Fijivillage earlier this week.
The group came from the Nausori Airport and brought diapers, milk, two cartons of chicken and other food items.
Mother’s Day is this Sunday.
