Christine Tobutt, 56, from Reverend Bill Baker Court in Broadway, is the first member of staff from an Integrated Care and Housing (ICH) scheme in Anchor Trust to pass her advanced dementia training course. She is now among only 3,000 Dignity Champions in Britain, joining the likes of Sir Michael Parkinson.
Former nurse Christine said she was proud to lead the way in dementia care because she wanted to help the growing number of people in Lincolnshire with the condition.
She said: "Thanks to Anchor's training, I now have a better understanding of the different types of dementia, their symptoms and causes which has helped me boost the high standards of care at Reverend Bill Baker Court."
Anchor Dementia Specialist Debbie Fox, who led the course, said: "Christine has worked really hard to make a difference to the lives of the people she works with."
