Donations, rice bags and other forms of assistance in the spirit of the upcoming Chinese New Year continue to pour in for the senior citizens at their home in Seria.
Yesterday morning, Chai Ym Fatt of Asia Enterprise, the country's largest rice distributor, donated several bags of rice and a cheque worth $500 for the home's maintenance to one of the home's caretakers. He also presented ang pows to all 15 senior members of the home. It is an annual tradition to help the less fortunate community members in the district.
