A family that visits homeland on vacation from abroad usually spends time visiting relatives, some tourist spots, shrines etc. But here is a family which spent some time with the aged people, entertaining them with their musical instruments.
Dr Gerald Abreo is a cardiologist in Texas. He is a jargon player too. His wife Nichol is a music teacher. That is why they taught their children to play musical instruments at a very young age. Their children played violin today for the residents of the Bajjodi Old Age Home. There are some 80 aged persons residing in the old age home, aged between 65 and 104 years. Cecilia D’Souza, the eldest, has completed 104 years of age.
Michael, Daniel, Christine, Maria, Jane and Rachael were the children who entertained the aged people.
The four children played songs like ‘Minutes,’ ‘The Bee,’ ‘Bourrey,’ ‘Perpetual Motion’ and ‘Which is Dance’.
The elderly praised talents of the kids. It was like a confluence of two generations.
