Senior Medical Services, a Panchkula-based NGO, organised a day-long health camp for senior citizens at Rattewali village in Panchkula district, reports Ashwani Raturi.
Dr. Sanjeev Tehran, President of the NGO, said over 500 senior citizens, mostly from rural areas, were given a health check during the camp. More such camps will be organised in the district, he added.
Union minister for Urban Employment & Poverty Alleviation, Kumari Selja inaugurated the camp.
