NEW ZEALAND: Survey puts crime top of list

AUCKLAND, New Zealand (NewstalkZB), June 18, 2008: Crime is the number one thing keeping kiwis awake at night. A survey by G2, which is part of Grey Group, one of the world's largest advertising agencies, surveyed New Zealanders' attitudes on a range of topics. It showed 51 percent of kiwis view rising crime as an issue that worries them the most. 67 percent of the elderly surveyed said it was their main worry. A similar survey in Australia showed the concerns are not as great, with 32 percent worried about rising crime. Copyright Radio Network 2008
