U.K.: Man who wed aged 96 dies

EDINBURGH (Scotsman), March 12, 2008: SCOTLAND'S oldest groom has passed away just months after tying the knot. Bill Rodger, from Perth, married long-time partner Liz Stewart, 73, in November at the age of 96. She said yesterday: "Bill passed away peacefully at home after a short illness.
