NETHERLANDS: Health insurers lose out

AMSTERDAM (DutchNews.nl), March 28, 2008: Insurers lost some €507 million on health insurance policies last year (2007), the Volkskrant reported on Friday, quoting central bank figures. In 2006, health insurance losses totalled €563 million. But unlike in 2006 when they made a loss, top-up policies offering extra services made a combined profit of €93 million. © DutchNews.nl
