Some 1,500 elderly and caregivers were given an early Lunar New Year treat on Saturday. The guests from 32 welfare homes were treated to a reunion dinner by the Home Nursing Foundation at the Singapore Expo. And joining them was Singapore President SR Nathan, who also presented awards to three caregivers for being most caring and loving towards patients.
The Home Nursing Foundation's Seniors' Nite is now into its 21st year and concludes a month-long series of fundraising activities. - CNA /ls
