INDIA: BIG 92.7 Celebrates 'Sabse BIG Diwali Party' With Seniors

MUMBAI (IndianTelevision.com), November 6, 2007: The festive time has begun with the advent of the festival of lights – ‘Diwali’. Brightening the lives of many senior citizens, BIG 92.7 FM today, hosted a glitzy ‘Sabse BIG Diwali’ gala evening at the Sir Jamshetji Jeejebhoy Dharamshala with a host of celebrities. Adding sparkle to their otherwise lonely lives were Sudhesh Bhosle, Kiran and Ritu Jhangiani – the sizzling couple of Nach Baliye fame with Ladki Mastani Lavanya. Living up to its brandline of Suno. Sunao. Life Banao! BIG 92.7 FM with the ‘Sabse BIG Diwali’ party surely ensured a fun-filled and a memorable day of these senior citizens on the eve of Diwali. As the evening began Sudesh Bhosle ensured that the crowd danced and joined him as he sang some old melodies that brought back memories of yesteryears. He also belted a few requests made by the special guest of the evening. Swaying to the Bollywood tunes of the golden era were the hip and happening Nach Baliye 3 couple Kiran & Ritu Jhangiani who were given a tough competition by the senior citizens. Bringing out the inner child in each of them, the evening gained momentum with a special Karaoke session judged by Sudesh Bhosle, who was stunned seeing the talent among the senior citizens. They were seen singing, dancing, cheering, enjoying the evening to its fullest with their favourite celebrities. It was truly an interactive session as the celebrities spent time narrating stories, enacting skits, etc. Besides the music, dance and fun, they were all given goodie bags, with loads of surprises – making this Diwali memorable for all.
