U.K.: Senior Citizens 'Safe On Road'

LONDON, England (AA - Press Association), October 10, 2007: The number of older drivers is growing but senior citizens are as safe behind the wheel as younger motorists, figures from the AA showed. Three-quarters of men in their 70s now hold a driving licence - a 50% increase compared with 20 years ago. And within 20 years, as many as 90% of men aged more than 70 will still be driving, the AA said. Copyright © 2007 The Press Association.
