INDIA: Seniors Group Gets Rs.100,000 Grant From Local MP

MOHALI (The Tribune, Chandigarh), October 29, 2007: The month-long celebrations of International Day of Older Persons ended here on Sunday with the Mohali Senior Citizens’ Association organising a celebration at the Shivalik Public School. Lok Sabha Member of Parliament from Ropar, Mr. Sukhdev Singh Libra, complimented the members for organising these month-long activities. He announced a grant of Rs 1 lakh for the association.
