BERLIN (Deutsche Welle - UPI), August 5, 2006:
The number of Germans who use the Internet regularly jumped 3 percent last year, an annual survey found. Internet use is growing faster among older people. But only one-third of senior citizens are regular users.
More than half the population, 58 percent, now goes on line regularly, Deutsche Welle reported. Germany ranks just below the United States and the Scandinavian countries in Internet use.
