UAE: Children visit Centre for the Elderly

DUBAI (Khaleej Times), July 21, 2006: In the final week to mark the ending of the eSummer programme for 2006, children were taken to the Community Centre for the Elderly. The trip educated the children and brought them even closer to their community. Dr. Doaa Fares, General Manager, Etisalat Academy, said, “Showing the children that at no cost or effort, everyone should give back to their community in every possible way. Involving children in trips like this showed them that there are people who need attention, and to show them that they are not forgotten.” The Etisalat Academy organised the eSummer Programe and has taken children around many fun and educational places in Dubai and Sharjah. © 2006 Khaleej Times.
