NEPAL: Free Health Camp Organised at Old Age Home

KATHMANDU, Nepal (The Rising Nepal), June 20, 2006: A free health camp for senior citizens of Pashupati Bridha Ashram was organised recently. About 230 senior citizens benefited from the three-day camp, says a press release issued by Phest Nepal. The camp was organised in the 24th memorial day of Baidya Babu Kaji Shrestha. Ultrasound, ECG, X-ray and pathology services were provided in the camp. The camp aimed at imparting the message that the elderly people need to be provided with timely health care.
