INDIA: Old Age Home in Karnataka Welcomes Destitutes

BANGALORE, Karnataka (The Hindu), March 28, 2006: Madilu, a service organ of Saheli, has invited applications from destitute elders for admission to its old age home and orphan/destitute children for admission to the orphanage. Madilu, established three years ago, has been providing shelter to elders who do not have any means for their sustenance since three years. Similarly, it has been admitting orphan and destitute children to its orphanage and assist them to pursue education.
