Noted lawyer and Independent member Ram Jethmalani introduced a Bill in the upper house (Rajya Sabha) on Friday to raise the retirement age of high court judges.
"The Bill will end the scramble among high court judges for promotion to the supreme court," Jethmalani said introducing the Constitution (Amendment) Bill, 2005.
