NEW DELHI (The Indian Express), JANUARY 10, 2005:
The Yogesh Chandra panel, probing allotment of prime plots in Delhi during the years the NDA government ruled, has discovered that a religious trust had been allotted a plot of land in South Delhi's R. K. Puram area for a paltry Rs 500,000 per acre.
In sharp contrast, an old age home organisation had to pay at the rate of Rs 8.8 Million per acre for a plot in the same area.
