An elderly refugee sits outside a tent that displays the Chinese character for 'rescue', at a camp for refugees of the 12 May 2008 earthquake in Chengjiaba, about 20km outside Beichuan, Sichuan province, China, 11 June 2008. The ruins of Chengjiaba have become a ghost town with only a few local people scavenging for possessions. As the one-month anniversary of the quake occurs, 12 June 2008, China still faces an overwhelming challenge of housing and feeding millions of refugees as well as cleaning up numerous townships that have been annihilated. According to state figures, the earthquake injured over 374,000 with about 17,500 people missing and nearly 70,000 confirmed dead. Photos: EPA/MICHAEL REYNOLDS.
