Mongolia has 94 centenarians living across the country, with 44 of them in the capital Ulan Bator, the country's major newspaper
Zuunii Shuudan reported Thursday.
Mongolia's oldest person, who is 108 years old, is from the central province of Arhangay, and the one-year-younger runner-up is from the country's capital.
Latest figures released by the Mongolian National Statistics Bureau showed that the landlocked country had a population of 2,635,100 by the end of 2007 and the average life expectancy stands between 65 and 67.
